how to fix the bottom pulley on a Mitsubishi shogun (reg.R)?

how can i tighten the bottom Pulley at the front of the engine as it keeps catching on the fan, its a diesel 2.8L no AC?

I had this problem and had to replace the pulley. It has an inner and an outer component, something to do with eliminating vibration, and it comes apart. Apparently it's a common problem on these vehicles. It cost me £250.00 to replace mine, £175.00 for the part, the rest labour + VAT.
