No heat from Creda TCR2?

Dryer not heating up. Doesn't seem to be power tothe heating element? Any ideas what is wrong?

Thank you Roger, I have browsed many answers and yours was the one that enabled me to fix my dryer, you saved me £200 I was about to have to spend on a new one! Thanks again!

I have the same problem as Chris.

Problem is, the back panel has screws all over the place and panels within panels. Is it neccessary to remove every screw in every panel?

I tried removing the big lumpy panel near the bottom of the drier and saw what looks like the elements inside the panel when it's removed. Can't see any thermostats though, only 2 1/2 inch approx wide round metal things, each of which has some small holes beneath. tried poking a cocktail stick through each hole, but nothing that clicks!

Any ideas? Thanks!

You may need to reset your thermostat. Unplug the drier. Take off the back panel and there are 2 thermostats mounted near the element, one of them has a small hole in between the terminals. Push a cocktail stick into the hole until you hear a click
