i have recently bought the new ghd and i have only had them 5 days and they have stopped working the led light comes on but beeps continously and the plates dont heat up.

Hi- you have bought counterfeit ghds, most likely from ebay. Pretty much every pink pair on ebay are fake because ghd ran out of stock of these ages ago. They are fake copies from China and will break within a few days. We have had a lot sent to us for repair but there is no point doing anything with them as almost every part is useless. All i can suggest is you contact the seller, threaten to report them to trading standards, if that fails use their address and send them a letter demanding your money back. Be careful with ebay.

Hi kirsty I have the same problem with mine as soon as I got them they did that I think they are on shiver mode which means that they wont heat up until the temperature is above 5 degrees. If you get any luck let me know as I need to get mine fixed as well.
