Each time i use my Whirlpool Generation 2000+ Dishwasher the Washing Tablet can be found in the bottom of the Dishwasher, lay against a plate or other item or is still in its compartment all mushy with the compartment door open. Consequently the only items in the Dishwasher that remotely look clean are the ones that have been subjected to the Hot water blasted against them. How do i prevent this occurring.

There are a couple of possible faults here....firstly...take out the bottom basket...and at the back of the filter housing you will see a grey pipe running from the filter housing up the back of the machine wall...make sure its not loose at the bottom...dont pull it too hard but if its loose the bottom part has broken and has to be replaced...easy about £15.Them make sure the spray arms are not blocked..this prevents them rotating...whislt the machine is running...after about 5 mins...carefull open the door just a little...you should just see the arms rotating.
