AEG OKO Favorit 4040 stuck mid-cycle?

Any ideas why? Seems intermittent. Sometimes it's fine. Sometimes not. The bit of the cycle it sticks on sounds like it's sloshing water around forever.

Any tips appreciated.

Hi Sam, did you have any luck with sorting out this problem? The same thing happens to our machine. The first time this happened we called an engineer out and it was working again by the time he reached us. He said that there is a sensor somewhere which is telling the machine that it is full of water, even though it isn't. We tend to just leave the door open so it can completely dry out and it then starts working again. This time, however, it is taking ages and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to have ta call someone out again.
