Potterton profile 80E occasional bang!?

Every now and again my boiler (Potterton Netaheat Profile 80E) will make a bang on igniting the main burner. Any ideas?

Mine did. Eventually blew the door off hinges.
There was no obvious culprit but changing the main ciurcuit board fixed the problem (costs a bit)
