Hi
You seem to have settled that the pump is the problem, I take it you have checked that there is power at the pump???
and tried making sure the pipes and jets are clear by taking the feed pipe off the reovour and blowing down it to see if the water still in the pipes is pushed out

I agree with what Andy has said and it is most likely to be a siezed or burnt out pump ( breakers yard job ) but you should confirm there is power at the pump terminals using an assistant and a simple test lamp that you could make yourself if you can solder, I would recomend every motorist to carry one of these in his or her glove box

all you need is a small 12 volt bulb (preferably low wattage ) and a lead soldered to the centre pin and the other to the bulb casing wrap these connections on a little insulating tape bare the other ends of the 2 wires and tin them ( solder the strands together to make them firm like probes
With this you can place one lead into each of the connectors on the pump and when the washer switch is pushed the light should come on confirming the power is getting to the pump ( Do remember to switch the ignition on as most washer systems only work in this position

Best Wishes

Your washer pump may have seized.Try giving it a little tap with a screwdriver or replace it with another one.
