My L reg ford transit van struggles to start when theres a cold snap?

when its cold my van wont start, it struggles to fire up and drains the battery, i tr it with a cold start kit and works most of the time. Do i need to replace glow plugs or starter motor?

Hi you should remove the starter feed cable from the starter motor and give the end of the cable a light sand with some sanding paper to clean the termanal.
ps transits dont have glow plugs

TRY WRAPPING YOUOR BATTERY IN SOMETHING TO KEEP THE FROST OFF.YOU COULD PUT IT IN A BIN BAG SURROUNDED BY LOFT INSULATION ,,THIS WORKED FOR ME..DONT PUT ANYTHING UNDER NEATH IT SLIDES ABOUT TO MUCH

Your van doesn't have glow plugs and you need throw the easy start in the bin!

Give the van an oil change using the correct 5w30 semi-synthetic oil and remove and clean all the connections between the battery and the starter and you will find the van will start first time every time.
