Undo the large nut on the track rod itself half a turn. Then, undo the track rod end nut and disengage it from the suspension strut. The track rod end should then unscrew, and you put the new one on so far that half a turn on the first nut locks it up. Then reconnect it to the strut. Your tracking will be pretty near this way, but its best to get it professionally set afterwards.
