ford focus rear brake replacement?

While attemptting to replace rear brake pads on ford focus (2.0 Ghia saloon T reg) the brake piston has popped out, and I am unable to get it back into the calliper - any help on how to acheive this?

remove the bleed nipple, clean piston lightly smear with bearing grease or clean engine oil, then fit piston, G clamp may help be sure 2 keep piston square, limited force.
