How can I reduce the pressure on my baxi combi boiler?

I have tried both to bleed the radiators and release the valve on a radiator and the pressure never changed. Is this because the tap is turned fully on and not off?

Will the combi boiler affect the shower pressure?

Can I release water via the overflow pipe and if so how do I do it? Thanks for your help!

Make sure that the filling loop tap is completely turned off so no water can enter the system. If it has been left on then water will be venting to the outside. So, release water from the system as before - you'll have to let a few pints of water out, so be patient if you are using the radiator bleed screw. This could well affect the performance of the shower, too.
