Vauxhall asta 1.6 envoy x reg?

when i switch the lights on the brake light comes on also, I've changed the brake/tail light but it still happens. how do i retify this problem

Silly me I had the light unit upside down and was changing the wrong lamp. problem solved. thanks anyway.

have you put correct bulb in? you might have put double contact bulb in single contact holder or vice versa,if correct it could be poor connection on earth point or circuit board.
