Ford Ka - how do I stop the windscreen wipers squeaking?

I have a 2005 Ford KA and the front windscreen wipers squeak every timethey're used. The noise is from the mechanism rather than the blades themselves. any suggestions?

I have the same problem ! I bought my car from new 2003, 1.3 Collection. Its serviced through Ford dealer and they have never made comment (I havent mentioned it to them) Thought I was being over sensitive. But since you have referenced it, it has made me wonder. The noise is fairly load! The wiper base must be positioned badly.
