The hot water on my Alpha Ocean 240e is only just tepid!!?

I have an Alpha Ocean 240e, It's keeping the radiators nice and warm but the DHW only gets hot if you run the tap at less than 10%. If you close of the heating flow, and run in hot water only mode, the heating flow pipe away from the boiler still gets very hot suggesting the DHW is getting into the heating loop somewhere. Has anyone any ideas where this is likely to be happening? Also in hot water only mode the top diaphragm (the smaller of the two on the diverter valve which I am guessing is for the heating loop)is making contact with the microswitch, is this supposed to happen? I seem to have lost the manual does anyone know where I could find a copy as it is no longer on the Alpha website?

MY ALPHA OCEAN 240E WATER IS CONSTANTLY COLD COULD YOU LET ME KNOW HOW TO FIX IT PLEASE - diverter valve operating and microswitch clicking on and off starting pump and fan but main boiler is not lighting - lights for heating but not for hot water

Get the yellow Pages and phone a Corgi Registered Engineer!

Hi Guys, I spoke directly to Alpha technical team, they were very good, emailed a copy of the manual (for free) . Having described the problem to them they suggested the "o rings" on the paddle at the back of the diverter valve (the job for this weekend and I will let you know how it goes). Re the noises mine is OK now (just clic, clic, clic woof) but used to moan at the top of its voice when firing up in DHW mode only!!

Try the Industry Web site www.gotoplumbing.co.uk which has just about every manual for every boiler ever made. It does cost £30.00 per year to join and is well worth the money if you are a professional heating engineer. If you are not CORGI registered then leave it to the professionals!

Sorry Tim I don't have an answer but a similar problem with my Alpha 240e . This house and boiler are new to me so I am confused by the loud noises it makes, especially when it comes on. Also, I can't get hot water unless the heating is on too!
I can hear the flaming thing now and it's in an upstairs bedroom cupboard. I am in the kitchen :(
