my door is not opening on my hotpoint 9535 how can i fix it?

the door on my hotpoint 9535 seems jammed and cannot be opened the handle is very flimsey and i have tried prizing it open but it truly is locked?

Switch off the machine. turn the twist lock onthe door lock back. Get a long screwdriver and lever the door open. dont worry - you wont break it.
