I've replaced cooker element but why does the electricity still blow?

I've changed fan oven element in Baumatic B144SS cooker, but the electricity blows each time I plug back in. Am I doing something wrong or could there be something else wrong? (I've changed it from the inside of the oven)

i had the same problem, it was down to a cheap replacement part.

Firstly take the oven from its enclosure after removing it from the supply. remove the rear panel and check where the element is sitting make sure that there are no wires touch the foil insulation or any metal part of the oven. The area around the connections is very close and it could be easy to have these wires touching a metal part of the oven especially if the element has been connected from the inside of the oven as you cannot check to make sure that all connections are safe and correct. Always Always check your work before reconnecting to the supply even if you have to remove the oven and take the cover off! Good Luck
