How do i detect and repair an oil leak on a honda CG125?

Someone attelpted to nick my bike but failed and then decided to vandalise it instead.
I think i have a small oil leak coming from somewhere but i don't know how to detect it or repair it.
can someone please help me out???

I used to have a CB100N (smaller version of the same engine IIRC!) that had the most bizarre oil leak: oil would just appear from nowhere down the side of the engine below the points cover. You'd think it'd be a leaky gasket but no: the alloy wall of the camchain tunnel was microscopically porous and the oil was weeping through it.

Oil leaks on these engines usually come from 1 or 2 places, but of course they could really come from anywhere. 1) check the sump plug for drips, on the very bottom of the engine 2) Check for leaks behind the chain drive sprocket on the left side of the engine, below a cover. Too tight a chain tension causes leaks here.
