Dear S. Leggate,

Apologies on two counts...one for being so formal as I don't know your first name; two for taking so long to reply to your kind post. I would like to take up your kind offer re. the circuit board for my Pro Workshop Vac, but before I put you to any trouble I wonder if you could give me some pointers as to how to fix it. I have dismantled just about the whole vac except for one area in the head where I can see the power unit but can't work out how to get that off. Is that where the circuit board is? Also please let me know how I can pay you for the circuit board.

Again many thanks for your kind offer of help.

Dear Leggate, I'd be grateful if you could you tell me where to obtain the 3-way switches for the Performance Pro Workshop Vac (CLM50WVPT) as the power take-off has failed on mine just one month out of the 36 months guarantee.

Regards.
Phil

I have a card which I removed from my machine as I thought it had failed (intermittently) and just used the switch as a normal on/off switch. However, it still failed intermittently and I realised the switch was at fault. I obtained a new (1-way) switch and it works perfectly as an ordinary on/off system. I never got around to refitting the circuit card therefore I have a spare one if you want to contact me. If it is the switch there are cheap replacement 3-way switches of the same spec readily available online.
