I have a 1" HP motor on a table saw, while cutting a board the saw bound up and the moter stopped and it will not restart even when I hit the reset button
Let the motor completely cool down, and press the reset button again before you re-try. If you can detect any burning smell though, the motor is on its way out, unfortunately.
