4 year old samsung 403024 american fridgefreezer, after 3weeks behind the panel in the back of the fridge.the cooling system freezes up and eventually the fan rubs the ice making a noise.

The problem is that either the sensor / thermal fuse / defrost heater has failed. The most likely fault is that you require the modified back panel which has been changed to include a heater strip and a clip that attaches to the defrost heater which in turns get warm and keeps the vent to fan defrosted. Part number is da9705290n.
