How do I input the CD multi-changer security code on a Vectra Stereo?

I know how to hold down the AS button and enter the Radio code successfully but when I switch to the CD multi-changer it asks me for the other code, which I have, but don't know how to input it? Please help?

same as doing radio code.press mode button to change to cd mode,then press AS button until beep is heard, then enter code just like you entered radio code
