Issue with Thermostat now that ive changed the element?

My element burnt out so i replaced it, it seems to work fine but after approx 5 minutes the thermostat thinks its too hot and automatically turns the main element off which means it remains about 100oC in the oven and nothing cooks. If you turn it off and on again it has slightly cooled and the element goes back on for another couple of minutes, can the thermostat be adjusted, do i need a new one - theres no obvious way to adjust the thermostat when i remove the casing?????PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

You state in the beginning the Element burnt out? Have you found the reason it burnt out. Elements very rarely ever burn out unless you have a faulty thermostat and this should have also been replaced as well as the element.
You must understand that what you have done could have been dangerous or costly on your pocket or both. Fitting another element before finding the reason why the first one burnt out is not the way to go. 1.Firstly deduce why the element went in the first place if it has burned out then there is a problem most likely with the thermostat. If you are going to continue using this drier replace the thermostat now!
