ford transit 2.5 diesel losing battery voltage?

if i leave the van parked for more than 3 days the battery loses voltage.i have the van around 1 year and i have put 3 batterys in it so far.its obviously draining power from somewhere but where i dont know.i turned off the interior lights and disconnected the phone charger and no other extras in the van.

Hello. I also had the very problem you mention on a G reg Transit....I NOW have it again on a P reg ! If I remember correctly with the G reg, this fault was due to the starter motor solenoid and not the alternator. Worth a check maybe. Of course, it MAY be the alternator. It's a damn annoying fault whatever the cause. Seems to be a common failing with these vehicles.

Disconnect the alternator from its wires, mate. Its not unknown for the diode pack to fail, draining the battery down. See if the battery then holds its charge.
