citreon c15 van how do you replace nearside front suspention arm and shock absorber
lee, January 2008
The shock absorber is behind the coil spring. To remove the spring complete with strut - briefly - unbolt disc caliper, remove track rod end from the strut, undo drive shaft nut, remove bottom bolt from strut so wishbone comes clear, undo top strut nuts on top of wing, pull complete strut clear of vehicle, pressing driveshaft inwards as you do so. Not a difficult job but there are more issues involved to replace the shock....needing coil spring compressors. May I suggest a Haynes manual or similar?
