Having problems with the heater blower on my '98 Megane.

Blower only works on highest setting. Suspect the resistor is faulty, due to a similar problem on my Mondeo a couple of years ago.

Anyone got any comments ?

Can anyone tell me where to find the offending item? and give a brief description of what I'm looking for? How much for a new one?.

pushed a wire into switch block connector bottom yellow left hand side of block took wire to yellow on cigarete lighter blower worked took wire out of cigarete lighter leaving other end of wire pushed in switch still works on all settings loose connection i suppose had brought new ressister switchs probably didnt need to didnt use new switchs

heater resister is under the grill below the passenger side wiper blade it has 2 plugs connected into it and is held in place with one small nut....dealer only part approx £44 or possible scrap merchant but not guarenteed working for about £10.
