Ryobi gas leaf blower impeller keeps falling off?

I tool the blower apart and screwed the impeller that had fallen off. But when I pull start a few time, it unscrews itself and falls off again. Should I use lock tite or some thread sealant ? Somthing is causing a lot of resistance and making it unwind while starting.

I want to MAKE an impeller for a 6hp engine with a 3/4" keywayed shaft. Help anyone?

Definitely use Loctite on the threads...perhaps there should be a nut on the end, if any threads are exposed? Pop on a nyloc type nut if there's room to do so.
