vauxhall combi 17 d?

i ran it out of deisel and put some more fuel in it and it will only start now if i turn it over for ages and it runs fine,but when i come to restart it it takes load or turn again,how do i bleed it thank you.

hi lee,i tryed new filter and still the same i have checked all the fuel lines and there all right,can you think off any thing else,thank you kev

geez acordin to the workshop book no manual priming/bleeding is posible. it self bleeds, there is a posibility that runiing out of diesel has alowd some muck from the botom of the tank to be sucked in/ you need to change the fuel filter then retry. the filter is on the right hand side of the engin bay, remove the two bolts holdin the whole thing and i think you just unscrew by hand. self bleed by holding throtle down fully turn to start and hold for 10 seconds at a time then alough torest for 10 seconds and repete over.
