how do you replace a gas line on a weedeater GHT-17?

The gas line is broken and needs replaced. How do you open the trigger housing to get to the gas line connection.

It takes an allen wrench. There are 3 screws holding the cover on. The screws all use the same allen wrench, as does the cover on the motor. The 3 screws are different lengths starting with the shortest on the top right and ending with the longest on the bottom left.

You might want to get the vent line too. The one I am working on has a vent line that keeps breaking into pieces.

You will probably need to pull the motor cover off too, which uses the same size allen wrench. There are 4 screws/bolts at the top, which are obvious and then the one below the spark plug. Remove those 5 bolts and the spark plug and it should come right off.

Just pull the fuel line down out of the way as it feeds through the motor vent slots, then pull tight, just before you seat the cover back on, then cut the line near the carb, to be the right length.
