Why is my Whirlpool "Supreme" dryer not drying my clothes?

My Whirlpool "Supreme" dryer tumbles, the timer works ok, but there is no heat coming out.
How can I diagnose the problem?
Could this be a problem with the fuses, and if so where are the fuses located?
Could this be a problem with the heating element, and if so where is it located?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

More than likely the heating element has packed in...its fixed to the back of the drum casing - not the revolving part, obviously. Complete strip down needed, unfortunately.
