wiperlinkage?

hi,i was driving home from work and my passenger side wiper stopped working so me being a typical woman tried to move the arm to get it working!what a mess i ended up in both wiper,s knotted together so i had to call out aa breakdown and they did a temporary repair to my vehicle .i now need a new wiper blade ,also a new wiper linkage my car is a 53 plate punto and i,m not sure what model that comes under please help....

The wiper linkages are joined together by ball joints, so the arms can move in harmony and not bind. One of the ball joints has popped out (the ball has popped out of its socket, I mean) and therefore one wiper blade stopped. As far as I know, these bits are only available from a Fiat dealer so I guess thats where you'll be tomorrow....
