ive had a diagnostics test done on my vauxhall astra 16v w reg and according to the results a new air flow meter was needed, the diagnostics test showed trouble codes p100 mass air flow and po110 intake air temp. i had a brand new air flow fitted to my car but it hasnt worked as the engine management light still fails to go out. please help.

thanks nige, theyve tried that and the light still doesnt go out, would that then mean its the ecu?

Hi Paul, the faults will be logged in the ecu's memory and now you have fitted new parts you will have to have the car re-connected to the diagnostic and the fault memory erased and while its connected running the engine will confirm the new parts are working ok.
