Faulty reverse light on a ford Focus zetec 1.8 tdci?

Currently no reverse light, bulbs been changed and fuses checked - all ok.
there is power going to the bulb but still nothing. Also checked the bulb and holder in other light and it does work. Please help!

Sounds to me like its the reverse light switch which is found on the front of the gearbox. It is triangular and can be changed easily. Hope this helps

i have a focus st170 and a faulty reverse light tried to replace bulb but still no joy!

you tested the supply with a TEST LEAD to prove supply is at rev light !.the rev light on the other side WORKS this rules out the supply and rev switch (1)fault is in connection where the bulb pushes into holder tease connection upward to put more pressure on base of bulb (2)the bulb is NOT earthing on the light cluster
