Which ever direction you move the GEAR STICK to get reverse, this WILL be the side of the gearbox that the switch will be mounted the action of selecting reverse pushes the PLUNGER TO MAKE CONTACT hence when any other gear selected PLUNGER DOE'S NOT WORK

Try screwing in 1/2 turn (they vibrate undone ) no joy new switch afraid
