Rewiring is easy depending on the system. If it's standard Briggs with electronic igniton, it's just a matter of getting power from the ignition switch to the connector on the coil located under the flywheel. (there's usally a black wire coming out from under the flywheel. that's the connector.)As for the charging system. There are 2 wires that come out from under the flywheel. One red, one white. The white one powers headlights if you have them. The red one charges the battery. Connecting it to the battery via the igniton switch will work
