I need to change the glow plugs on a ford escort diesel R reg 1600 van. How do I do this and do I need to change anything else at the same time?

Sorry I cannot answer your problem and I imagine after a year and half its not a problem anymore lol so I have a leak from a glow plug and having made sure it is tight after removing it I noticed there were traces of copper grease, did you find your answers? where please? I'd like to know if there was a washer of some kind.
any help would be grateful while I keep looking, Thanks.
