O.k. if everything is still intact, remove the broken cord. Flip over assembly so that you are looking at the assembly, turn the assembly so that you are tightening the sping. Once the spring is tight, use a screwdriver or pliers to hold the assembly from turning. Run the new cord in through the outer hole and then the hole in the plastic assembly. Tie a sruare not on the end of the rope. Release the screwdriver or whatever and watch the cord wind.
