When activating scorpion alarm in mk3 Golf, orange indicator lights on car flash 3 times.Lights on drivers side stay on after 3rd flash. Only way to extinguish lights is to disconnect battery. Also cannot find scorpion onboard receiver/control unit. Does anyone know where unit is sited or how to cure fault.Fobs have volkswagon label attached but local dealer (who installed system) not very helpful unless they sort fault.

the control module should be behind the dash just look for alod pf black wires going into a black box

alarm unit located behind glovebox, indicator wires are two red/black wires, snip these to solve prob, the relay in unit will be sticking.
