Looking at the unit it seems very easy to reverse the door. The hinges can be removed and the plastic covers over the new locations are easily removed. I can do it all done in a few minutes; except for the mechanism that the door catch locks into. This alone is not customer friendly and seems to be mounted from behind with screws from the front, but the mechanism seems heavy and too large to be pulled back through the hole. If it drops, the dryer immediately becomes unusable. How do I gain access behind the facia to remove this mechanism and likewise fit it on the other side?

i think you have to reroot the wiring from left to right so that the door lock mech can be fitted.dont think this was meant to be done by customers otherwise they would give you instruction how to do it in user manual.not much help really but lots of machine doors can be put on the other side but need lots of reworking internally.
