Zanussi Nexus FL1081. No power, does not work?
Please help, I don't want to buy a new machine !!(wife does:( )
Zanussi FL1081. It ran fine this morning and completed a wash cycle. When we went to put another load of washing in we noticed that the power light wasn't showing. On turning the machine on, nothing happens. No intake of water - nothing. I have checked the obvious. Power supply is ok, fuse in plug is working.
I am wondering if the door switch has given up OR ( and worse) the programme control box has had it? These are the only two things I can think of that would cut the power supply. Can anyone confirm this or have you any other ideas what could be wrong?
Thought I'd better mention that this machine is 12 years old and has been excellent up until now and it's age is another reason for my wife saying it's time for a new one !
