McCulloch TrimMac 210?

With ignition on there is no spark at spark plug desite renewal of plug.

Possibly the magneto. Remove the front cover and check that the 2 screws holding the magneto are tight and that the mag is set just off (1/8") the magnet. Also check that the space between and the surfaces are clean. Also remove the 2 connectors. These connect to the switch and just short out the magneto. So if the switch is stuck on you will get no spark. Removing the connectors temporarily takes the switch out of the circuit. Put together again and check for spark. If you have one tale apart and replace connectors. Check for spark again. If none it is the switch. If still there then it may be cured. If still no spark and you have changed the plug then it is likely to be the magneto and spark lead. Hope this helps. JR
