Overbath shower Supajet 102?

this model now obsolete (17 years since install). worked ok one day next day didn't. 3amp fuse in plug ok from 11.5v transformer to double pole ceiling mounted switch. 1amp(? not marked!) fuse in transformer had blown, replaced with supplied spare, all wiring to control cabinet (interior cleaned out of fluff etc.,)checked out ok, but on switch on only a humming noise from interior pump and following a quick surge of water from shower head only produced a dribble thereafter.

Hi I have the same shower (102), with the same problem, the fuse blows, when it's replaced. Was the transformer the problem?

Supajet 101 problems also,

I cant answer your problem but Im having trouble with a Supajet 101 . I thought it might have been the flow sensor - a post told me to remove 1 connection to the flow sensor and turn the water on - if it pumped this indicates the flow sensor is faulty. It did not work still.
An electrician friend then said to take a 12 volt power source (car battery or battery charger) and to connect it to each stage until you find the problem - ie. in place of the transformer and directly to the pump terminals. I disconnected my transformer, connected the battery charger instead & turned the water on- it worked. Hence I have a faulty transformer (£80 bl**dy quid !!).
Your problem may be the pump - just connect a 12volt source direct to the terminals to see if it works.
