the diesel filter is located under the air filter box. remove the filter housing and you will see the filter if not follow the fuel hose back from the pump inlet and you will find it no problems. if you only want to drain excess water from the filter this can be done from underneath the bumper in front of the driver side front wheel. hope this helps.
