Hi all. When I plug this phone (or another BT cordless I have) through an extension lead, it doesn't work, no dial tone etc. Plugging in through the supplied extension works but this isn't the one routed through my house ....
Are extension leads different somehow ?

If you mean a cable that just drapes around the house then replace it. If you have a proper hard wired extension checkk the wiring as follows. Behind the Master Socket and the Extension socket you will find a cable with sis wires going from the master to the extension. Ensure that Blue & White is connected to pin 2 and White & Blue to pin 5. If they have become disconnected you need a special insertion tool to reconnect them, (Get a cheap plastic one from Maplins.)
