hi had this fault on my 98 polo sdi checked every thing including the elec stop switch on the fuel pump but still nothing on the injectors fuelwise as a last resort took the pipe off the air filter box and gave it a squirt of aero-start it fired up and touch wood hasent happend again still dont know why or what caused it but the aero-start cured it you can get aero-start at most motror factors hope this helps you regards aspro
