How do I stop water getting into the rear footwell on my corsa?

My Vauxhall Corsa 3 dr has sprung a leak! The rear n/s footwell is filling up with water each time it rains. I have had a good look round but can't see any obvious point of entry. Could it be coming in behind trim panel where it can't be seen? Under the rear seats are dry, and the door seals look ok. The carpets on the vertical sides are dry. The front is ok.

Hi, I've got the exact same problem with my 2001 corsa. Mine has been making sloshing noises when i brake suddenly. I'm getting very frustrated. everyone has an opinon about it, but nothing seems to be right. I took the rubber bungs out of the drivers side sill and about 3 pints of water came straight out!!. i'm going to leave the bungs out and try to dry out the interior over summer then get rid of it. my garage said that they would try to find the leak for £75 per hour! yes i bet they'd love that. can't afford to get it fixed at present. I've tried most things. anyone out there got any ideas for us?????????
