mondeo fuel pump relay.18 PETROL 2001?

engine will not start now and then .I remove the fuel pump relay
replace with a new one .engine will start.but when tested the relay is ok .the same thing has happend three times this weeK

my 2L petrol did the same, I sprayed some contact grease on the relay pins and all is well.
