The above dishwasher has just started to come uo with the U! error code. I have found it in the manual, and it states it may be the wash pump. Your site has similar information. The drain seems fine, and the s/steel plate on the inner base of the unit seems to be ok too. Do you have any more possible causes that I might be able to look into??

Finally found the problem..turns out that the control panel had an electrical fault of some description. one of the transistors sstanding on the PCB was actually broken into 2 pieces with a small amount of "brown" area around the pieces.

Was going to cost $220 Aussie dollars for new part..so got new dishwasher instead !!
