The ice maker is not producing ice . The freezer and fridge sections are cold only at the lower half although we can hear the motor running all the time

The freezer side of it keeps losing temp at the top half of freezer and the freezer temp keeps flashing, the fridge is on 2 deg but sometimes we have to throw milk out as its not been kept at correct temp.
its a double door whirlpool, stainless steel,only two years old and we bought it in south africa and it wasnt cheap so we expected it to last longer..
