THIS IS A FAULT ON THIS MODEL, DONT BUY A NEW GLOVE BOX, WHAT HAPPENS IS THE LUG INSIDE THE LID HAS BROKEN,
I REPAIRED THIS BY PRIZING OPEN THE LID ALONG THE FRONT EDGE WITH A 2 INCH PAINT SCRAPER NOT THE CHEAP FLIMSY ONES, IF YOU WORK YOUR WAY ALONG THE WHOLE BIT WILL SEPARATE YOU WILL HEAR A CRACKING NOISE WHERE IT WAS BONDED TOGETHER, WHAT I DID WAS TO DRILL THROUGH EACH LUG ( A SMALL DRILL) AND USED A NUT AND BOLT THROUGH TO THE INSIDE OF THE GLOVE BOX USING A COUPLE OF WASHERS AND NYLOCK NUTS, YOU WILL SEE AS SOON AS YOU OPEN IT UP, THEN YOU HAVE TO GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER USING ARALDITE EXPOXY RESIN NOT THE RAPID AS THIS SETS TOO QUICK, A COUPLE OF G CLAMPS TO HOLD IT TOGETHER WHILE IT SETS 16 HOURS. OTHERS SAY REMOVE WHOLE OF GLOVE BOX WITH PART OF CENTRE CONSOLE THIS IS NOT REQUIRED AT ALL. THERE ARE NO SCREWS TO REMOVE EITHER ..
