How to turn off onboard graphics?

hi there l have a philips iqon. l just bought a new graphics card and was wondering how to turn off my onboard graphics?

Not really a modem query, but meh! On-board graphics should disable itself once it can see there is an occupied VGA port on the board.

If not, then the option should be under the advanced settings in the BIOS. Should be fairly easy to spot.
